Using IPad to record learning (Length)

Using iPads to record and capture learning enables learners the opportunity to review their learning.

Students engaged in Activity 1 on Length.

Last week, 2D explored the topic on length through Activity based introductory lessons. I hope the hands on activities and use of the iPad has helped you understand the concept of measuring and estimating items that are associated with the unit of metres(m).

Mr Hakim's Introductory Blog Post

Dear 2D,

It's been almost a month since I began my journey in Wellington Primary with you. I would like to  first and foremost thank Mrs Soh for being kind enough to let me continue using this blog. In order to ensure the smooth transition of teachers in end Term 2 and the coming Term 3 for the class, do note that I will be posting information with regards to classroom matters using this blog up till the end of the year.

I hope that the coming 2nd half of the year,  will be a great and memorable teaching and learning experience with all of you!

Change Over of Teachers

Dear children and parents,

I'll be starting my maternity leave on Monday,  a little earlier than expected, due to health reasons. As I prepare to welcome my little one, I'm not forgetting the little ones in 2D too. I'll be handing over the class to Miss Ang and she will help to ensure that lessons carry out as usual without much disruption. Mrs Chen is still the form teacher of 2D and she will help to look out for the children as well.

Miss Ang will be introducing herself to you soon and continue to maintain the class blog. I may drop by from time to time, and update you on my status. Meanwhile I'm still contactable before I give birth and do feel free to keep in touch as a friend. Thank you all for working with me for the past few months, I wish you all the best and see you around soon!

It's Friday!

Dear children,

Can you remember what we did during our ICT lesson today? The steps are quite complicated and I realised that I have forgotten to return the guide to you. Don't worry, you will be able to get it back on Monday. It's group work today but for next week's lesson onwards it will be individual work, so those of you who have not downloaded the app please do so by next Friday. If you want to play around with the Hopscotch app, you can use your own username. Please reserve and keep the class username for lesson time.
